For Caregiver Wellness News, Sherri celebrates National Caregivers Day with an overview from her new book, Me Time Monday – The Weekly Wellness Plan to Find Balance and Joy for a Busy Life, and the chapter on “Caregiving Redefined.” Sherri defines caregiving as a constant across the life span and defines the population of family caregivers as Gen C – Generation Caregiver. Sherri also gives an overview of the various home care services available to families including how to get paid as a caregiver if you are a family member with help from a service called Givers or contacting the Area Agencies on Aging via the Elder Care Locator.
