For December, Sherri Snelling, corporate gerontologist and “Caregiving Club On Air” podcast host, kicks off the holiday theme in this episode with our great interview on the latest trends in age-tech and digital health:

Steve Ewell, Executive Director at Consumer Technology Association Foundation part of the huge Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas every January. Steve gives us a sneak peek into the latest trends and upcoming products in technology for older adults, how to stay safer at home, how to use wearables and gadgets to help caregiver wellness and more.

Sherri talks about the loss of former First Lady Rosalynn Carter who passed away November 19 at age 96. Sherri shares a personal story about her connection to Mrs. Carter (Sherri also posted a personal blog about Mrs. Carter and wrote the tribute article for PBS Next Avenue). You can also catch some audio recording of one of Sherri’s interviews with Mrs. Carter on Season 2, Episode 12 of this podcast.

Sherri also shares the latest in sleep science since sleep is the one thing we often do not get enough of during the busy holiday season.
