One of the gaps Caregiving Club CEO, Sherri Snelling, felt has long been missing in the world of family caregiving is where to learn about new programs, new products, new ways to save on costs of care, etc. Many caregiving sites offer great resources but they are mostly limited to specific resources such as Medicare/Medicaid benefits or Alzheimer’s caregiving information – not the big, vast world that exists to help the 65 million caregivers but which most don’t even know exists.
Sherri has been an expert in the field of family caregiving for more than 20 years as an author and writer as well as having done hundreds of webinars and speaking engagements over the years, she was surprised most in the audience had never heard about some of the things she was sharing.
With her vast knowledge on the latest trends, programs, innovative products – including AgeTech andCareTech – research studies, workplace and other surveys and more that affect caregivers’ lives, it was time to bring you all the news we feel you need and deserve. We know you have limited time to conduct research or read articles or watch videos so we are attempting to bring it all to you in one place every other week.
That is why the Caregiving Club Newscast was born! Originally part of the “Caregiving Club On Air” podcast we felt we did not have the time or frequency to report all the news happening on the podcast. That is why we developed this news show for our YouTube channel.
Every two weeks, Sherri will bring you:
- Latest products or programs that help caregivers care for older loved ones
- Self-care trends and tips for caregivers to find that balance in life
- Recent research studies in brain health and Alzheimer’s (as a gerontologist Sherri specializes in the neuroscience of longevity)
- Trends in the workplace when it comes to employees who are also caregivers
- What is happening in well home design – a topic becoming more important for the Sandwich Generation (based on the trend in environmental wellness from Sherri’s ME TIME MONDAY book)
- How our society looks at caregiving and aging – the pop culture lens of longevity
Don’t forget to subscribe to our Caregiving Club YouTube channel where you will get alerts every time a Newscast is published (Thursdays), along with our podcasts, Me Time Monday Self-Care in 7 Minutes videos, educational webinars and more.

Below you will find our “Caregiving Club Newscast” episodes that launched in January, 2026. The YouTube links below take you to the Caregiving Club Newscast episode and the links found here are resources mentioned by Sherri during that episode.
Enjoy and we hope this helps you on your caregiving journey to take care and stay well!
