I was thinking about the Grammy Awards just a couple of years ago when Glen Campbell took the stage after telling the world he had Alzheimer’s disease. It was a powerful, moving moment.

I have had the privilege of interviewing Kim Campbell and her daughter, Ashley, with music legend about their caregiving journey for a husband and a father diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. The Campbell family’s poignant story is captured in my interview for this article that was originally published on PBS Next Avenue in 2014.
